Review: After becoming a successful website I Can Haz Cheezburger has created a book featuring a great collection of LOLcat's. LOLcat's are photographs of real cats in a variety of situations with silly captions. The captions are supposed to sound as if the pictured cat is talking in "catspeak", which sounds similar to English but with a funny twist. This collection is loaded with humorous situations and is sure to make the reader laugh out loud.
Opinion: Hilarious, Hilarious, Hilarious! I'm laughing looking at the cover picture as I'm typing. This is a clever and funny book to promote laughter and laughter is good for the soul...so I love it!
Ideas: Have students make their own Lolcat or Loldog of their pets. Post them in the library, have fun. Students can also post their LOL's online and vote for their favorites.
